IN the base pov models..non bose..the sub is cleverly mounted at drivers feet , slot loaded behind cover..not in dash...but I could be wrong! certainly has good sound and bass pumps. Reasonable sound engineering and makes sense.

This doesnt work on my 2024 cx90. Dont fall for this bullshit.
I have a CX90 PHEV GT and the PHEV system is far more efficient than advertised. In town I average as low as 2.1 L / 100 km or 112 MPG. Mix in highway driving and my average has worked up to 5.3 L / 100km or 44 MPG. On a 446 km road trip in the mountains last week, I got 113 km of all EV driving due to the regenerative breaking, etc. You can really hypermile these things once you learn how to best manage them in consideration of your driving demands.
Unlikely event? I get a notification almost daily and mazda can't fix the issue. Mazda missed the mark with the latest releases(cx90 and cx70) and definitely won't be my next vehicle manufacture. Maybe the rumors are true about their situation.
You don't even have to drive a Mazda. Just sit inside and compare the interior to other brands. Mazda feels premium at an affordable price point.
Can't wait for the hybrids.

Minuscule gas savings, but higher risk of failure in the long term. The added complexity and cost is not worth the very tiny amount of improved efficiency. Simple is better and reliability takes precedence over moot complexity.

This video helped me with my made in Mexico Mazda 3 2016. I couldn't access any of the low light bulbs through the engine bay. The high beams I can definitely access through the engine. There's a huge difference on where things are placed between the Japan made and Mexico made Mazda 3s.
